Answers to the questions we hear most
How much do removals cost in London?
Every move is different, so we price each one individually. The size of your home, the distance, access at both ends and any packing or storage all play a part. After a free survey you get one fixed quote, and that is the price you pay.
How does the quote process work?
Tell us about your move by phone, WhatsApp or the quote form. We then survey the move, in person or through a quick video, and send you one clear, fixed quote based on the agreed work.
How far in advance should I book my move?
Two to three weeks ahead is ideal, especially for Fridays and end-of-month dates. We are a small, flexible team though, and we can often help at much shorter notice, so it is always worth asking.
Do you supply packing materials and boxes?
Yes. We can deliver boxes and protective materials, or take care of the packing for you. That ranges from a few fragile pieces to a full white-glove service with furniture disassembly and reassembly.
Are my belongings insured during the move?
Yes. Every move and every van is covered by goods-in-transit insurance, so your belongings are protected from the moment we start loading until everything is set down in your new home.
What happens if my completion date changes?
Dates move, and we plan for it. Let us know as soon as you hear and we will rework the schedule around you. If there is a gap between homes, we can hold everything in secure storage.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Peckham and cover the whole of London and the Surrey borders, with local pages for our core towns. For long-distance moves we go anywhere in the UK and into Europe.
Can you store my belongings between moves?
Yes. We offer clean, secure and flexible storage for homes and businesses, for a few days or the long term. We can collect, store and redeliver whenever you are ready.
Can you handle flats, stairs and difficult access?
All the time. Stair-heavy flats, no lifts and tight access are everyday work for our crews. We check access and parking before the day so there are no surprises.
Do you do long distance or European moves?
Yes, long-distance moving is one of our specialities. One careful team handles everything door to door, anywhere in the UK and into Europe.
