How much does an office removal cost?
Every office move is priced individually based on the size of your premises, the amount of furniture and equipment, access at both ends and any packing or storage you need. You get one fixed quote after a free survey, and the price we agree is the price you pay.
Can you move us in the evening or at the weekend?
Yes. Many office moves happen outside normal working hours so your business loses as little time as possible. We can work evenings and weekends, and we’ll plan the timings with you and your building management so everything is ready before your team arrives back.
How do you handle computers and IT equipment?
Very carefully. Screens, computers and other equipment are packed in protective materials and labelled so they reach the right desk. We usually ask your IT provider to handle disconnection and reconnection, and we’ll happily coordinate timings with them so everything is where they need it.
Are our furniture and equipment insured during the move?
Yes. Every move and every van is covered by goods-in-transit insurance, so your furniture, equipment and documents are protected from the moment we start loading to the moment everything is set down in your new office.
How much notice do you need for an office move?
The more notice the better, ideally a few weeks, so we can survey your premises, agree timings with building management and plan around your busiest periods. That said, we’re a small, flexible team, so if your dates are tight it’s always worth a call.
What about confidential documents and files?
Files and paperwork are packed securely, clearly labelled and moved directly from your old office to the new one, staying with our fully insured crew from door to door. Tell us during the survey if certain crates need extra care and we’ll plan for it.
Can you store furniture or equipment between offices?
Yes. If your new office isn’t ready, or you’re downsizing and need somewhere for spare desks, chairs or stock, we offer secure business storage through our storage partner, Steve Frieze Removals. We can collect, store and redeliver whenever you’re ready.
