How much does professional packing cost?
It depends on the size of your home and how much you’d like us to pack, from fragile items only to every room. Tell us about your move and we’ll give you one fixed quote after a free survey, in person or by WhatsApp video. The price we agree is the price you pay.
Do you have to pack everything, or can I do some myself?
It’s completely up to you. Some customers want the whole home packed, others just the kitchen and fragile pieces, and plenty pack most things themselves and leave the tricky items to us. We’ll agree the level of packing during your free survey so the quote reflects exactly what you need.
What is white-glove packing?
It’s our most careful level of packing, using export-wrap techniques to protect furniture, artwork, glassware and anything else you treasure. Each piece is individually wrapped and protected for the journey. It’s not reserved for grand houses either: any customer can add white-glove packing to their move.
Do you supply the boxes and packing materials?
Yes. We bring everything the job needs: sturdy boxes, paper, tape and protective wrapping for furniture and fragile items. Materials are included in your fixed quote, so there’s nothing extra to buy or collect. If you’re packing some things yourself, we can supply boxes for that too.
Can you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Yes. Beds, wardrobes, dining tables and other larger pieces are dismantled carefully, moved safely and rebuilt in the right rooms at your new home. Our crews carry the tools and know the awkward flat-pack quirks, so you’re not left with a pile of panels and a missing screw.
Are my belongings insured while you pack and move them?
Yes. Every move and every van is covered by goods-in-transit insurance, and our packing crews are trained to protect your belongings properly in the first place. If anything is especially valuable or delicate, mention it during your survey and we’ll plan the right protection for it.
Do you pack on moving day or beforehand?
It depends on the size of your home. Smaller flats can often be packed and moved in one day, while larger homes are usually packed the day before so moving day runs smoothly. We’ll agree the schedule with you in advance, so there are no surprises.
