How much does a long distance removal cost?
It depends on the size of your home, the distance, access at both ends and how much packing you’d like us to do. We give you one fixed quote after a free survey, in person or by WhatsApp or video, and the price we agree is the price you pay.
How far will you travel?
Anywhere in the UK, from the South Coast to Scotland, and into Europe too. Our longest move so far took a customer to the south of Germany. If you’re leaving London, wherever you’re heading, it’s worth a conversation.
Will the same team handle the whole move?
Yes. The crew that packs and loads in London stays with your belongings and delivers at the other end. There’s no handover to another company or depot along the way, which means fewer risks, fewer delays and one familiar point of contact throughout.
How long does a long distance move take?
It depends on the distance. Some moves are done in a day, while longer UK journeys are usually loaded one day and delivered the next, with your belongings locked and secure on our vehicle overnight. European moves take longer, and we agree the full schedule with you in advance.
Are my belongings insured for the whole journey?
Yes. Goods-in-transit insurance covers your belongings from the moment we start loading in London to the moment everything is set down at your new home, including any overnight stage in between. If anything needs special attention, mention it at the survey and we’ll plan for it.
How far in advance should I book a long distance move?
For long distance moves, three to four weeks ahead is ideal, as the schedule takes more arranging than a local move. That said, we’re a small, flexible team, so if your completion date has landed suddenly, call us anyway and we’ll see what we can do.
What if my new home isn't ready when I have to move out?
That’s common with long distance moves, and we plan for it. We can load as arranged, hold your belongings in secure storage for days, weeks or longer, then complete the delivery when your new home is ready. It’s all agreed as part of your fixed quote.
